The Knicks and Balkman

so last night with the 20th overall pick in the NBA draft the new york knicks decided it would be a great idea to draft renaldo balkman. who is this you might ask? well he played for the south carolina gamecocks, back to back winners of the not invited tournament. he never averaged double digit points in a season and was generally not a good player. the only reason isiah thomas could have thought he was good is that he got to see him at the garden over the last two seasons. now many people have critisized adam morrison for crying at the end of gonzagas tourny run... however balkman was seen crying at the end of a game against clemson... in december! he was unable to take the verbal abuse the fans gave him and at the end of the game broke down crying in his hands and on the shoulder of a coach. someone this emotionally frail will never make it in the big apple, especially with the knicks fans who so desperately want a winning product at the moment.
